Early for intro discounts on S6 from Audi, unless your uncle works for the dealer!
*Edmunds / *True Car: in an intro article had some numbers... *it was a few months ago
#No European Delivery, this ED issue hurts Audi's image big time...
Where are the dealers that accept or can deal with the ACNA discount. Remote locations? It would cover the sales tax!
Found one PRES in Idaho at $80k but did not get the morony!
Also, Costco has a program for new cars, worth the membership, don't know the discount ($1-3k (?))
ED and TCar- S6 has listed a dealer's markup of $4000 +/- for the Prestige S6
Options probably have a 20% markup, A good options build is + $10000
Don't forget: Tire-wheel Pkg. $1500 Est. and Audi care $1200 Est.
Both could be points to negotiate w/ dealer as a discount.
It would only cost the dealer their cost, giving up the mark up.
Bottom line is $90k +/-
>without a B&O 3D

Options carry the same margin (dealer cost to MSRP)as the rest of the car. Maybe Audi gets 20%, but a dealer is at ~5.5% on all new Audis
Costco is different as it’s not an “incentive” or net discount - dealers choose where they want to price the car, same as TrueCar (it goes through TrueCar in fact)

To compare- Ina tough auto segment Is there a Lexus/Jaguar/Infiniti challenger?
Listings for 2018, 2019 550Mix & AMG 53 GT(?) show depreciation of $20k +/-
With less than 20k miles, some BMWs list at $62k to $72k Certified! MBs are not much different!
*lots of inventory on both marques too.
S6 has no history, so is it a good estimate a S6 Prestige sold for $88-91k would devalue the same in 12-18 months?
Will this market condition force/influence Audi to compete?
