S6 sport seats uncomfortable
Gorgeous gorgeous sexy 21 S6 interior. But after 20 mins driving it starts to get annoying and back breaking. I’m 6 1 195. Everything else I love about this car. Wondering if custom seat and/or back cushions can be purchased to help w comfort on long drives. Thank you

I feel your pain (no pun intended). I'm looking to get rid of my loaded 2020 BMW X5 because of the seats. It is the most uncomfortable car I've ever owned. Merino leather, comfort/lux/multi contour seat and I hate them. There does seem to be a small minority that have similar issues that I have based on a poll at bimmerforum. In the BMW case it's not just the seat, but more likely the angle of the gas pedal.
I'm looking at a an A6 prestige/BOP/Lux but also gave a look at the S6 today. Took it for a quick test drive but for the 10 minutes it felt good to me. definitely a snug fit. The seat back did seem a bit thin (almost like a carbon back fixed seat). is it specifically your back that hurts? how long have you had the car?
I also love everything else about my car but just can't deal with it anymore.

Admit, it takes tweaking (amazing the difference small adjustments can make) - but 6’1” and 250 and mine are dialed right in. Two 4 hour trips in one day with two hours in between and comfort vice a few days earlier 30 minute drive where my back was aching.
Small adjustments, give it some time!

So... I hear you and I agree with you... I have a SQ7 with the seats like yours, and my S6, I ordered on purpose, without the Sports bucket seats... Had to pay more but got the contour lux seats - with the massage feature - for exactly that reason... I really coulnt find the right position on them... Lux seats on the S6 look more appropriate witth the overall "luxury sedan theme"... THe contour bucket were ok in my S4... but the S6 commands more maturity (??!) At least thats what i tell my self as i use it to drive around business people when I have people over... Still a kid at heart - my tires are gone with less than 11K.
Contour and massage... very nice... alos had the ventilated... which in Houston is a must!

As mentioned, all person dependent. Sure, cushioning can always be added/taken away/modded from a good interior shop. This will be trial and error to a large extent.
Height, weight, body type, age, health (ie, level of flexibility), all play into it. Some people adjust very easily to whatever they sit in, others, not so much.
A few years ago, I had a car in the shop for body work after someone hit it (GTR). I was given, by insurance, first an F150 (new at the time, maybe 2013?) It was quite comfortable. Work wasn't done within 30 days, so the insurance company extended my time, and switched me into a Camry, also new. Absolutely awful. Yet, they sell millions of Camry's, so clearly it wasn't the car, it was me in the car. YMMV
