Traffic sign recognition

I'm a new happy owner of a 2024 S6. I have figured out most of the technology in this car but one thing that I haven't been able to get to work is the camera-based Traffic Light Recognition. My car has the new Area View and I only get Navigation-based speed limit signs but not camera-based ones. Any time I drive through temporary speed limits like construction zones, the display is not updated.
Have any of you had experienced issues with this system, specifically 2024 models with area view?
The dealership can't even understand my question so any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Traffic sign recognition is displayed in the cockpit display not the MMI. As you are getting speed showing in the MMI it sounds like your car does not have the option (or it is switched off in the relevant car settings menu) as usually having the camera based system operational disabled the display in the map, to avoid conflicting details being shown on the two displays

Hi John, thanks for your answer. I do have speed limits on the virtual cockpit and the HUD, not the MMI, what I am saying is that Audi obtains speed limits from two sources the stored nav maps and the camera mounted on the windshield. Nav maps limits are correctly displayed but not updated with the camera if a temporary sign is detected.

the feature isn't super helpful. you'll see some signs pop-up in your heads-up display and the digital cluster behind the steering wheel, but the car won't do anything other than show you... looks cool, but that's about it...
