I was browsing the Audi website (USA) and noticed that the carbon fiber inlays had reappeared.

When I ordered a 2020 S6, I had -- at the time -- only the choice of wood or aluminum. I chose aluminum. When I saw the carbon fiber I called my dealer and they went on-line to my order and found it could be changed.

I added the lovely carbon fiber inlays.

The thing is, that it could be changed must be an indication that they aren't building these things yet for Audi of America customers.

At this rate, the 2020s will come in just in time for the 2021 MY to begin.

And, I got my 2018 S4 in April 2017. Go figure.

Yep, something screwy with the MY's. Also I guess that doesn't apply to the S7 though if APR already got theirs.

I can't believe the carbon fiber inlays aren't available for the S7 but it is on the S6. What's Audi thinking??

It is on the S7, dealers can order it.

I was just at my dealer today ordering the S7 and was not given this option. Have you been told about this?
