Bang & Olufsen Sound System ...true value?

I ponied up $6k for the B&0. I am an ex-DJ and the sound is exceptional. Wife (not an audiophile) said yesterday that is sounds like a live band is right in front of her.
......was cool but would be less used by myself - heads up display, night vision, cruise control features, etc- i live in Chicago downtown and these are not features i would use, so i passed on that package and added the B&O. .......in this thread is not comparable to this S7 system.

I lived in Chi-Town for 12 yrs , and had the EARLY s8 and R8, with B&O PLUS the ADEPTIVE CRUISE Control>if you drive the Chi-town stop start traffic a lot , its a MUST HAVE!!!! ... and add B&O and you car is a LONGUE ON WHEELS , as you drive with A-cruise control, as its adjusts to the car in front of you and keeps a specific distance by self-braking. I would arrive @ work much more relaxed and CRUISE HOME lot easier !
but yip , each to their OWN !

Well I just changed my 2015 S7 to B&O - from reading and coming from an audiophile background it seems to me just to have it to have is a must. I listen to both and the BOSE is sufficient but I not a big fan of BOSE systems in general because of the highs

UPDATE. I elected to go with the B&O and am pleased with the system. It is a quality setup but 6K was still a steep price. I had a loner yesterday and had an opportunity to experience the BOSE and the B&O is far superior.
Most passengers comment on the kool factor of the tweeters and it is an option most will use every time they drive their cars as opposed to the night vision or adaptive cruise control.
