I just bought a 2013 A8L and I think mine is fuzzy as well. Wonder how difficult it is to replace it? Guessing you have to take apart the entire interior of the trunk to even get to it.

Yes, the backup camera's quality sucks for a car that costs over $80,000! My $35,000 Infiniti G37 had a better camera than this. This is unacceptable in a world where HD is the standard - even on your smart phone!

our 2007 and 2010 Q7's back-up camera's were better than our S7's is. I thought for sure it was a dirty lens when we were test driving it weeks back. After cleaning it I assumed the previous owner might have scratched the lens while cleaning off debris int he past. I was also amazed how crystal clear the camera was on the 2015 A7 lower they gave us.

I bet they switched to a new supplier during this time and our S7's were effected because the quality of the picture looks terrible.

I would ask them to bring out a similar car to yours and compare side by side. That is the only way you'll get them to fix it. Mine lags for a split second every now and then, slow to engage sometimes but isn't blurry.

I have done that and they said it's the same in all cars, they're aware of it, but no fix for a problem they don't consider an issue
