RMP surge after stopping

New on the board here, so sorry if this is a repeat question. Having an issue the local dealer has not seen before. I took it to another shop that specializes in german autos and they "guessed" it was the pcv valve. I then decided to take it to the dealer. Dealer didn't think it was the pcv. No faults are showing. 2018 S7, 72K miles, transmission serviced and thermostat replaced at 60K miles. about 1,000 miles ago, a minor rpm surge started occurring after I come to a stop. As I'm decelerating, the rpm settles in around 800rpm between 15mph and 0mph. But as soon as the car stops (i.e. 0mph), the idle drops to 600, jumps to 1,100rpm, then settles back at 600rpm. This surge happens in <1 second. Otherwise the car drives great. Averaging about 22mpg mix city and hwy. I tried to post a video. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I wish I had something for you. Never had to deal with the before. In my expierence with my S7, I usually start with a Google Search... Audi S6 <fill in blank issue>. There are many more S6s and what people do with them than S7.
If you know this... my bad.
A quick Google search, people had the fluids changed in the Trans, PCV issue, and or had to get their clutches replaced. Again, quick 1 mins search and a couple of threads I read.
I am following incase you solve.

Thanks- I picked up my car to give them time to discuss diagnostic Plan B with their tech experts. Maybe a week, then I'll call. In the meantime I'll do some S6 searches as you said. I think it might be trans related, so we'll see.

yes, thanks for the recommendation. Found 2 others that share my misery. I'll contact the Audi shop today (my weekly call) to see if they have a diagnostic plan and will come back here and update if we have any break-throughs.
