If I need factory links, do you know of an inexpensive source?
Brian
I would restore the original stock condition of the suspension. I am not sure what is a "lowering link". Is a replacement of the sway bar link? If it is then OEM sway bar links are cheap parts. I have my good source of audi parts in Hungary but this won't help you Maybe other members from the US can recommend you a source for original parts.

What was replaced was the links connecting the ride height sensor to the body of the car.

Default Wow, Very creative - True Engineering...

So the link must be custom made or they just saw it off a piece and welded it back together? If the link is shorten, your VCDS may not help you. Just find the correct one and you may not have to do anything. Do you have a picture of it lowered so I can see? How lower do you get... I do have the same 06...

She won’t like it when it’s low to the ground like mine last time... my wife was so scared when the car was scrapping every bumps in the parking lot.
Cheers,
Louis
