Would anyone care to elaborate on how to gain access to and remove the climate controller including the flappers? I get plenty of ice cold air but no heat. I have spares I want to test.
Thanks

I would check the heater control valve first and flush the heater core. If the wrong coolant was used, the heater core could be clogged. A flush should take care of it.

Cold air FLOW out at LO but NO FLOW of hot air or FLOW of cool air at HI setting? I can check Elsawin for instruction but better to diagnose the problem correctly instead of disassemble everything.

THe crazy thing is that when I picked the car up, It was blowing super hot air. I shut the car off (at the dealer) and restarted it, it was blowing ambient air. Like a shutter was closed. They HAD it blowing hot air - supposedly by doing something while plugged in to the car.

The controller is very easy, just remove the ashtray and there are 2 bolts to secure it.
The flapper should be inside the AC/Heat exchanger in the front of the engine. There are left and right.
