Audi connect error on registering key user

Default Audi connect error on registering key user

We tried to complete Audi connect registration at delivery but it gave an error message.
they told me it should be Ok in a few hours...
now few days after and no luck getting a key user registered in the car , when i entered my Audi account infos , it logs on and when i entered the 10 Lettes code it gives error message:
setting key user has failed
connection error occurred, try again later


went back to the dealership, tried resetting to factory settings...... no work

anyone had any issue like that

I had the same issue at delivery. I kept retrying over a few days and eventually it worked.

Same issue. Try pushing and holding volume button on console. Then re-enter. I am not sure if you have to go to the login screen first and login

dealer has to verify the contract - if they are doing the setup on the ipad (recommended) it is very simple

I did deleted and re created a new audi account.
my dealer deleted the car and re put it under my audi account...
i tried to reset the car to factory settings, and again no luck ....

877-505-2834 is the support line for AudiConnect - but if the dealer didn't verify the contract number, nothing you try will work

This is how my salesperson did it while in the car with me, it worked with no issues.

I'm had this very issue today at my dealership. My rep confirmed the contract on his end, I confirmed my Audi Connect account, entered my credentials in the car but it fails to register the key user, similar to the OP. Do I have to wait a few days? He suggested trying again over the next few days but wondering if there's anything else I can try?
