Hi,
Just checking if both rear bumper tail lights for the Q8 work or is it just the right hand side that has the light with the left one just a gimmick.

As you can see the left one doesn’t work. So just checking if this is normal. The dealership advised me that’s how it should be. However am not convinced.

Unfortunately, those sold in USA don't have rear fogs. Maybe someone with a Euro spec can check theirs.

A6 and A7's in he USA most definitely HAVE rear fogs. Unusual that the kissing cousin Q8 wouldn't have them. You sure they don't?

are you in US? Some cars in Europe will have parking lights on one side of car when parked next to roadway.

That is the way it should work. None of the Mercedes-Benzes that I've owned have the rear fog lamps on both sides of the vehicle. Just on one side.

Can't confirm how Audi's work, but for my Volvo, it is intentionally set up so one rear tail light glows brighter in the fog setting. It is intended to distinguish the lighting from normal night setting, or while braking.
