Default Spacers

Hi All.

I'm thinking to buy spacers, but not sure what size will look good with 20" wheels. I used 10mm front and 15mm rear on my D4 model..
Does anybody use spacers and if yes - can you post sizes you bought and couple pictures ?

Thanks.

You may want to check if this could void your factory warranty if you are still under OEM coverage.

I know it will void the warranty therefore I'd take them off before visiting a dealer.

Spacers have never voided my factory warranty.
I have had 10mm spacers to improve the look / stance of every BMW, Porsche, Audi that I have purchased over the last 20 years - and never once did the dealer bat an eye lid when doing warranty work on suspension, brakes, etc etc.

That's great to hear, but anyway I'd take them off just to be safe.

So I assume nobody has installed them yet?

Aside from premature failure of wheel bearings, I'm having a hard time seeing how spacers would compromise any other system of the car.

Bump...buying a 2019 A8 and would like to do spacers as well. I put them on my S4 with the stock wheels and it improves the look, imho. Curious if anyone else has installed them?

@aeggroup did you install any?

I'm wondering about the same thing on my S8. It's got the 20" wheel/tire package and seems to be lacking, lol. Looking for a little advice.

I have a 2023 S8 on stock 21"x 9" wheels with the +37 offset and am running 12mm spacers in front, 20mm in the rear...it DOES NOT look staggered at all--it actually looks flush...
