Default Collant leak

Can someone help me determinate what should I change next since there is a coolant leak on Bank 2 side.
Coolant is gathering in first well right behind main front coolant pipe (see pic).
So far I have changed this long coolant pipe and thermostat few months ago.
There is no coolant traces lower down the engine, just in this first well on bank 2.

The oil separator (PCV system) can cause coolant leaks in the valley... or... headgasket (pretty unlikely though)

Maybe the waterpump is leaking backwards into the valley? (again grabbing at straws here)

Few questions:

If it’s a PCV problem, is this No 20 position on pic the culprit (gasket) or these PCV's just tends to crack open and leak?

If it is, shouldn’t coolant be mixed with oil (which is not in my case)?

Is PCV on 2.4 always plastic or it can be alluminium (thinking if it is, I will just need a new gasket)?

If it’s a water pump it’s a smaller problem, I’m just affraid not to have a coolant/oil mix, which will be a major PITA situation.

I just replaced the oil separator/PCV on my 3.2. I initially just ordered the gasket (20) in your picture. When I finally got to replacing it, it turned out to be a completely plastic module with a molded silicone gasket such as is used in many other places on the engine. So I ended up having to order that which delayed my reassembly even more, but I no longer have coolant pooling in the location you described.

Thx a lot!
I was just replacing AC dryer and orifice tube, so I took a picture of the leak while I was on the job.
This amount is a day of driving, 40km distance. Looks like to much for such short period of time.
You’re saying that the plastic module was cracked?

I was inspecting few things today and realized that this car have just one radiator fan! tf???

Is it even possible for 2.4 V6 petrol engine to have just one fan or someone before me trashed this car and fitted one fan option from some other car?

This engine gets hot on summmer, you can cook a lunch on it! Maybe one fan option is the reason for this?

Mine has two fans... how does your fan look? Is it off to one side or right in the middle? If it's in the middle and is quiet large and looks like factory mounting, then I'm betting its factory.

Mine looks like this. (I'm assuming you're from across the pond. Europe had a lot of different setups than we got over here in NA. So a single fan might be possible)

Yep, Europe.

It has one large fan on driver side (see pic) and passanger side has some kind of self closing grills.

Regarding the leak, anyone knows the statistic for this plastic crankase housing, do they rather crack or just gasket fails? I have coolant all over this bank 2 side (from front to back, as I accelelrate/brake). If I start digging I’ll have to buy who knows how much gaskets and hose seals just to inspect it. Damn, this is sht scenario.

I start to think that this smaller PCV inside this sht has something to do with oil consumption and oil smoke while I drive downhill with closed throttle (upon acceleration).

If it’s cracked, I’m sure I can weld it and then take care of this oil separator inside (replace it), if I get it right which is which here.

And MAIN question for me here is (if someone knows): can this problem mix coolant with oil on this 2.4 V6?

I did not experience any coolant/oil mixing at all. I don't remember if the housing was cracked or if the seal was just out of place and/or tired. I'll take a look tomorrow, if I still have it, and let you know. I had purchased the gasket that you mentioned and after finding out that it did not go to my plastic PCV, I researched a little more and found that the one with the gasket uses a metal PCV. I considered changing over but didn't want to take a chance on it or spend the extra money.

I assume that this is the module for oil separation on 2.4. I've seen people fixing this membrane as it goes bad as well. I don't think this is interchangeable with the 3.2 metal one since it has some additional parts on it to attach few hoses on 2.4 (ETKA lies and I can't find correct rubber gasket part number).

In addition, I have measured vacuum on those two tiny hoses on the intake (upfront) and there is -0.92 bar at 830m altitude. I assume this is a vacuum that drives the variable intake flaps and has nothing to do with oil separator and that membrane inside the separator, since it's almost an absolute vacuum present there (Boy did I repaired that vacuum pump or not? ).
