Options for replacing subwoofer, 2 mid speakers?
Bought this 2019 Q5 Komfort in January and noticed a tinny sound, and the bass adjustment didn't do anything. Finally had a chance to take it to an independent shop that I've used for our other Audis, and the shop manager said that the subwoofer needs replacing, as well as the 'mid' speakers in the front, I think, and that we were really only hearing sound from the tweeters. Which would explain the poor sound, of course.
He gave me these part numbers:
80A035381A for the subwoofer, with a dealer price of $688 CAD.
80A035303 for the mids, dealer price of $172 CAD each.
What are some reasonable options (actually might consider some UNreasonable ones) for a lower cost to replace these? Used is fine as long as they work (duh), not really picky. 3rd-party options available, perhaps?
Thanks for any suggestions/advice here.

Been doing some audio upgrades myself. Bruce Miranda at Mironics has some very good drop-in solutions to your issues. For a lot less that the quotes you were given for OEM replacements.

Knowing nothing about this (if you couldn't tell), can any powered subwoofer be used, or am I looking for something more specific? Do I need to worry how it would be powered if the Audi one is passive?
And if it's OK to use non-Audi for subwoofer, is the same true for the mid speakers and I could be choosing from 'whatever' out there?
Either of these really simple, or best left to a pro if one is not too experienced?
I've tried a few easy things like cabin air filters but nothing too much more complicated than that.
Thanks!

Update - I ordered some "Boss" (don't judge me) 3.5" mids from Amazon, took off the passenger front door panel, and chickened out of cutting the wires to splice onto the new speaker (which may have been too thick anyway).
Decided to actually confirm the speakers were NG, but heard sound coming from both front doors (which an independent garage had said were blown). Located the subwoofer, nothing at all coming from that even with the MMI setting at full.
VAG-COM had the following faults, but no visible damage to the subwoofer, so this could be a wiring issue rather than a speaker issue, perhaps? Any thoughts?
(Note: these faults are from November, prior to our purchase, but I thought I cleared everything after my initial scan in January)
