"After 2019 they sorted the issue" with 2017 and 2018 being culprits according to the gentleman with the hard to place accent.

Per Gemini...interesting. The YTer did just comment and say 2019 models shouldn't be affected. I don't know who to believe now!
There are reports of rocker arm failures in some Audi EA839 V6 engines from 2017-2019 model years. However, the extent of the issue and whether it's specific to all 2019 models is not entirely clear. Here's what I found:
- Potential for Issues: Some online forums and discussions mention rocker arm failures in EA839 engines, including 2019 models [1, 2]. There's also mention of a potential revision of the rocker arms made after June 2018 [2]. This suggests that earlier production runs in 2019 might be more susceptible.
- Limited Confirmation: It's difficult to say definitively if the issue is widespread in 2019 models. Forums tend to have a concentration of car problems, and reported failures might not represent the majority of cars.
- Checking for Revisions: There's no official Audi recall on this issue, but some Audi databases suggest a revision to the rocker arms after July 2019 [2]. Unfortunately, I cannot directly access such databases.
- Online Research: Look for information about rocker arm failures in 2019 EA839 engines on Audi forums and car repair websites. Pay attention to the source and date of the information.
- VIN Check: You might be able to check your car's specific build date using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). This could help determine if your car falls within a potentially affected production window.
- Consult a Mechanic: A certified Audi mechanic can inspect your engine for signs of rocker arm wear and advise you on any necessary repairs.
