Hello there,
My name is Dragos and new to this forum. Bought an second hand Audi 2021, 40 TFSI MHEV 150 KW 204HP. As a DIY-er, I service my cars myself so I intend to continue the same with this one. Car was serviced by Audi dealer prior sale and MMI show max oil level. Now, I assume that Audi filled with right amount and MMI is accurate. As I like to see oil level myself, bought from E-bay an dipstick. I didn't expected to be calibrated for this engine so when arrived, put it in dipstick tube and pulled out to see oil level (oil look clear so definitely was changed). Far over max mark on dipstick and I mean few centimeters over (didn't measure but 4 - 5 cm over). I have marked the level on dipstick by scratching dipstick so when will check the oil or replace it I have a reference where should be. Question is, if oil is overfilled, MMI will show that is overfilled or just will show oil level at max?
Many thanks.
Exactly how many mm is there on that stick from the top where it would sit against the dipstick tube to wherever you consider the full and min markers to be?
What's the actual engine code? "40 TFSI MHEV 150 KW" is a lot of specs, but Dxxx would have been specifically accurate. Is this a DMSA? DMSA is 490mm top to full, and 18mm full to min.

Engine code is DMSA. Mark on dipstick made by me is at 477 mm but car is not on perfect flat surface so tommorrow will check again on flat surface.
Is that the common 06J 115 611 E or L dipstick for the Gen1/Gen2 gas only engines (CAE in the US B8)?
You see the full and min marks for the Gen3/Gen4 are much higher on the stick than the Gen1/Gen2 marks. But only ~1.5cm higher. As mentioned, if the oil is "too overfull", the car will detect that and advise you.
Probably intended to be the same, but Audi officially has no 06H 115 611 any rev, as the longitudinal EA888 Gen1/Gen2 (06H) has no dipstick defined. It's 06J 115 611 E, for the transverse EA888 Gen1/Gen2 (06J). There is an 06E 115 611 H, for an EA837 V6 gas engine (06E). But that stick and the measurement look like the 06J 115 611 E.
