Since even number vehicles are now EV and odd number ones are ICE, this means the next generation internal combustion A6 will be renamed the A7. This will be sitting on the new Premium Platform Combustion like the new A5 sedan. We're getting a lot more definitive spyshots now:

The new platform is called E3 1.2, and troubles with its development delayed the arrival of the PPE cars and resulted in a change of leadership at CARIAD, VW Group's software division. But those kinks were worked out, and it means the new A5 has a thoroughly modern electronics suite, where four powerful computers called domain controllers replace the dozens and dozens of discrete black boxes that each handle a single function in older cars.
Also worth noting that even though it still has the 3-box shape of the A4 it now has the Sportback hatch opening of the A5. This will likely carry over to the new A6-shaped A7 as well.
I like it ! Although I prefer the front grill on the current a6 … not sure what u make of the cockpit lay will reserve judgement for seeing it in the flesh .

One of the downsides of the new infotainment is that apparently you can no longer display the navigation map in the driver's screen like the current one. Surprised by this omission since that was one of Audi's claims to fame like a decade ago.

Wow what a strange idea . With that and the addition of so many screens in the car now they obviously want us to crash so we are forever in the repair centre 😂
