Do I want to tacke this A8L restoration?
My drifting nephew left his A8L in my field, and I think has abandoned it. Needs the rear suspension thingie, and I guess he's just not interested anymore...has sat for a year.
I just started it, had to enter the trunk because of dead battery.
Runs fine, shifts good, good rubber, no dings, paint good, no overheat...of course it's a toilet...slob...mice have taken up residence...bummer.
VIN # WAUML44E75N015480....2005 mode
So the major issue is the automatic rear end suspension operator is dead...he did get some sort of adapter to replace some cicrcuitry...no go...really interesting ride, eh?
Where can I get info on that particular rear end contoller...OR I heard there was a kit for making it a conventional mechanical suspension.

I hear that. It's already cost me. It has a leak, and left a trail of liquid up my driveway. Later I decided to check out that leak and backed it up and forward to check, then decided to move it over a few feet over clear ground and ran over my bicycle. My nephew can take it from here...it's his problemo.
