First post so please be kind .

Just upgraded from a 2011 Q5 to a 2021 plate in the UK. I wanted to update the navigation system to add points of interests for speed cameras.

I've got my USB stick created with the info using a combination of a speed camera database from PocketGPSWorld & the POIBase app. Everything looks as expected on the USB stick but the car does not find anything when I try to update. It basically says "no updates found".

The cars is 3 years old and the Audi connect services have expired so is this the reason why? Is there a way round it?

Is it a MIB3 (touch screen version) ?
If so than you can't load POIs such as speed cameras, same issue with Volkswagens.
If you are worried about such than an app such as Waze has that information.
