Default First service, roof seal issue.

Hi all, Car is going in for it's 12,000 complimentary oil change on Friday and aside from other issues, I noticed the seal on the rear roof has sagged in 2 places. Has anyone else have this problem? Sorry pics are so large! I will work on them.

That should not be happening and I would ask the dealer to get the whole seal replaced as soon as possible. I had a seal replaced on my previous D4, but never had an issue with the D5. Good luck and let us know what the dealer does.

There is a seal that runs around several windows, that was depressed in various areas on my car when I got it. But it's just a flap and I was able to bring it back up with a plastic paper clip to sit properly.

BTW, I may be wrong, but I don't think our A8s came with a "twin turbo" V6. I believe it is a standard turbo. The twin turbo is offered in some other cars, but I don't think it was ever offered in the A8. That would be a fun engine, but it would encroach upon the TT v8.

Thanks for the heads up about the turbo(s). Don't know where I heard they had 2!

Just checked and it does seem to have twin turbos for 2023...

.The 2023 Audi A8 flagship luxury sedan is fresh off some updates for the 2022 model year. The automaker's top sedan rides on an extended wheelbase and uses a 335-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 that powers all four wheels through a standard all-wheel-drive system.

Where's that quote from? The twin turbo v6 is 2.9 Liters puts out 444 HP. It is used in cars like the S6. https://www.audiusa.com/us/web/en/mo.../overview.html The base 3.0 V6 turbo puts out 335 HP.

I just googled :What engine does the 2023 A8 have? I will investigate further. Did some more reading and it seems like you said, it has a 3.0 V6 with one turbo and a hybrid system. If I can figure out how to change my bio to just V6 turbo, I will. Thanks for the heads up!
