I have serviced my s4 with IW for ages. Mike Rooney is great. Trust the guy inherently and have never had a reason to go elsewhere. So I dont.

That being said, I have absolutely no experice with WMS, but I take my hat off to them for what they have created. Mike, you have really come a long way from when we first met. I can respect what you have done.

This new guy, good luck to him too.

My bottomline is that there is enough biz for everyone, enough niches, and most importantly:

LET THE WORK SPEAK FOR ITSELF. THOSE THAT DO GOOD BUSINESS, STAY IN BUSINESS. Bottomline.

I do, however, question the logic of these guys opening a new audi shop on the same block as IW. Not quite sure what would motivate them to do so...its a big valley with plenty of great locations! Anyhow i wish them luck...i have no concern that this will hurt IW because their client base is very loyal to them due to their outstanding service they provide.

IW is 15 miles away, Eurotech is about 20 miles away .
In this case what can you do but to wish them luck.

...and there is definately more than enough room for a couple audi shops. Plus, you guys did the right thing and put it clear across the valley from IW. Now, not only did you guys not step on toes, but you are in an area all by yourselves, and you got to pick a nice spacious location. good job!

It just blows my mind that this new shop would choose the location they did!

Why not reserve judgement until after you meet me?

I would much rather have a good working relationship between the two shops. Since IW and WMS rep different products, I think it would be far more productive to be able to recomend each other for those products.

This is, of course, my personal opinion.

Maybe I could stop by WMS sometime and introduce myself... I'll carry a white flag or something.

I like him and I have no issues with him, yes I remember I learned all about Vag Com through him but I also did his 1st sedan and also helped with his motor pull at IW since it was their 1st B5 .
We all learn and enjoy this business but some just like to cuz drama ( Hint Skydive )
