Will try to make this quick.
Moved from CA to NJ and moving to FL in a month
I got a ticket a few months back in NJ but I had my CA license at the time....
Its $85...
I now have a NJ license... If I pay the ticket will it get back to CA? (I dont care as long as it wont follow me and get to my NJ license)
Should I wait to pay it for another month and by that time have a FL license? (it would have to get to CA then NJ and then FL)

i was speeding and changing lanes quick
he cut me a brake and gave me 'careless driving' which basically means 'you did something worse but were cutting you slack'
its much better than those 200-300 ones i was used to
oh and jersey SUCKS
headed to FL in a month

If not, it will catch up to you. I got a non-points "fuel wasting" ticket in Colorado. Sure enough, 1 pt speeding ticked in California. I called them on it too, they wouldn't budge.

The key, I think, is did you cancel you CA license when you left CA and moved to NJ. Or did you just get the new one (NJ) and leave the CA as is? You will want to cancel the CA license which should stop all further activity going forward. I learned this the hard way 10 years or so ago in my drinking days
