Default Use Resources to fight the ticket ...

Just got back from court today and was found guilty but got a reduced amount. Was caught doing 86 in a 65 and got it reduced to 70. Use internet resources to put together a case - even if you are caught on radar there is a good chance of winning. Let me know if you need URL's for assistance.

Default you're WRONG too...

Anyone can request a 12hr traffic for any moving violation in CA. Its not designated of "major" offenses as you may think. I've done it twice in the situation where i've already gone to traffic school in the past 18mos (or back in the days 12 months). I know there was a case referring to this (and no i don't have the reference for you) which makes it almost guaranteed that as long as you request 12hr traffic school, the judge will granted. its worked all the times for me.

FYI, if you got a DUI, they don't give you 12hr traffic school -- you get arrested! Even with wreckless driving, depending on how severe your citation was, it can mean suspension of your license, car getting impounded, of course fines and maybe even jail time too.

Seriously, all your responses are making you look like a fool. I doubt you've even been to traffic court. You have no idea what you're talking about.

"Seriously, all your responses are making you look like a fool. I doubt you've even been to traffic court. You have no idea what you're talking about."

I responded twice to this thread. And my first one was no way "making me look like a fool" it was agreeing to the once in 18 months or ask for the longer course. So how is that making me look foolish?

Ive never had to take the 12 hour course, Ive always taken the 8 hour courses.

And yea a DUI you get arrested, license suspended, etc. But the court can send you to traffic school as part of your punishment for this and for wreckless driving.
Have had a few friends go through that on DUIs and I had to take traffic school for my wreckless along w/ suspension of license and all the other drama I got.
So this is why I said the court mandated/appointed it, it's all up the particular case in question i guess.
Look foolish do I? Maybe but I went off what I and friend have been through, I just dont get as many tickets as you I guess to know all about this 12 hour course deal.

Some URL's would be great. You can mail them to me. Is there a good chance the CHP officer will show up? How long will the case last? It's just in one court sitting? Thanks
