Reminder, registration is still open for our upcoming track event @ Streets of Willow July 8&9
Don't wait until the last minute to register. The deadline is JULY 1st. Reserve your spot now, as space is also limited.
Just like Buttonwillow in March, this 2-day driving school/track event will be just as fun and exciting. Willow Springs is located approximately 85mi north of the Los Angeles area. If you've never attended an ACNA driving school, this would a good opportunity to learn proper car control as well as the characteristics of your car in a safe environment. Space is still available for both students and instructors. To participate, all that is required is that you be a current ACNA member. Also, you can drive any type of car (doesn't have to be an Audi) you want.
Since this event will be held out in the desert which tends to be hot in July, we have decided to begin the days later. Basically we will start at 9am on Friday and 10am on Saturday, thereby allowing us to run later since it does not get dark early and is much cooler.
See flyer below for more info and link to our website. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

That's a very good idea!!
Do you have the daily schedule of the different run groups??
How late will you run?? 7:00, 8:00??
Have you thought of starting early and taking a long break midday???
I know you're not running the skidpad portion, are you using the short chute or the turnout before it with the chicane??
Is Jhared going to be there???
Inquiring minds want to know big fellah!!!!
Ps. see you on the 21st!!! maybe I'll buy you a root beer float!!!

after giving it much thought along with the recommendation of others, we've decided to have the following schedule for both days:
9am-1pm - first half
1pm-3pm - lunch @ the Essex House
3pm-7pm - second half
by using this schedule, we've accomplished a couple things -- taking a break during the hottest part of the day, and allowing people to sleep in a little. i personally think this would work out fine since the essex house is only 10-15min away from willow springs, and its indoors with air conditioning.
regarding track configuration, we're using the full track in a clockwise pattern, no skid pad, and using that S-part right before it to slow people down as well.
i believe Jared will be there. i know he wants to go, but he also tends to travel a lot for business.
