Default there's also a great place called Gyukaku on La Cienega

Japanese food, do it yourself Yakiniku style meats including Kobe steak, pre-sliced, ready to cook.

Not too bad either, but might by difficult for large crowds.

Default My thoughts on Gyukaku...

Gyukau doesn't use REAL Kobe beef... they use "american kobe beef" (but you pay the price of real Kobe beef ) which is kind of like buying California Champagne (and paying for the real thing).

I feel Gyukaku is over priced for what it is (specially the "kobe" beef). I will not be returning, but thats my personal preference.
