Default Last resort there's always Mobil gas stations (but prices are typically a buck or two higher).

a627Tceo also mentioned Mercedes dealerships selling it at good prices. I believe Keyes on Van Nuys is the SFV dealership. Last I checked, 0w40 was just over 6 bucks at the MB dealership near me - might be worth giving Keyes a call if they're nearby.

I've had good luck finding it at Autozone and Kragen in my area, but always best to call first.

And oh yeah, Wall Mart used to carry it as well.

Default If you still can't find it in the SFV

Kragen on Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica has tons. I just bought 2 cases @ 5.99/qt.

Default I recommend Motul E-Tech. Ingolstadt West carries it. It's far better than Mobile 1.

A five liter bottle costs about $37.57. 1 liter costs $7.82. Motul X-Cess is on par with the Mobile 1, and costs $28.75. 1 liter costs $5.75.

Motul E-Tech is Audi's recommended race oil, and it TuV certified six way from Sunday.
