...in my mind, Wade. I just figured out what you meant by "shots". Who knows why I was slow on the uptake? I will get some pics and "shoot" them to you soon. That is, if you're still interested.
As to your post, you should come out to QDM. I know it's not a track day, but it's still hella fun on the pavement.

There's not much right away.
The next Cherokee event is in November @ Barber. VIR w/ACNA is today/tomorrow, but it was sold out months ago. If I get off the fence, I might attend Mid-Ohio w/ACNA in July.
Beyond that, you can start poking around with other car clubs (BMW, Porsche) or Track clubs like Chin Motorsports (http://www.chinmotorsports.com). Expect to pay more for more track time.

Still looking for an event?
We still have about 25 spots if you are interested. We are The Dark SIde at Roebling Road Raceway - we'll be there May 1-3, 2009.
May 1 - Track hosting lapping day $150 - 2 run groups/30 minute runs - one hour off for lunch.
May 2-3 - Driver ED - ($250 non-members for Sat&Sun / $225 for members). 5 groups - Novice to Instructor. 20 minute runs.

If you have not been with us before, please fill out an application from www.darksidede.com -- and in both cases, please mail in the check. The price goes up by $25 April 14th. (We prefer the money go to CAPA and Boys & Girls Club of HHI, rather than Paypal and the banking industry.)

October 17-18: Mid Ohio
October 31 – November 1: Watkins Glen ”Halloween Fright FAST!”
November 21 – 22: Road Atlanta “Flyin Turkey Trot”
