Default Coil-over installation

anyone have any experience with installing coil-overs for the first time? how long did it take? Do you wish you should have taken to a prof or fairly easy install?

Default Depends on your tools and if you're mechanically inclined

With the right tools the installation can be done in 3-4 hours. The main specialty tool you'll need is a spring compressor for the stock springs. The front suspension has 16mm and 18mm bolts/nuts, so make sure you have those socket/wrench sizes.

An impact wrench makes everything go a whole lot quicker too, especially the spring compressor if you've got the cheap kind that requires you to turn a bolt/nut to compress.

I would budget 6 hours on your first try if you've not done such an install before.

Default I am think I am going to order the H&R Ultras

Unless someone sells me otherwise. I see H&R set up's at the track all the time and know they are a good brand-had a set on a previous car. Would love to buy PSS9's, but I can't afford the extra $700. Don't know anything about some of the other recommended brands (Stasis, etc); however, would love to get some user feed-back if possible.

Default IIRC, the Ultras are pretty stiff

and I seem to recall that it slams the car too in comparison to the regular H&R's.

Stasis is a very good suspension. The Motorsports are used on their race car (~$3900) but they've also got Tracksports (~$1900) and Streetsports (~$1100).

Default have you looked at the Vogtlands?

I've yet to read a bad review of them.
