Default Finally pulled the trigger!!! Stasis Track Sports

Decided on 550lb in the front and 600 in the rear. Wanted to step it up to 600/700, but I drive this car daily and I do not need something that is going to shake me out of the car....Hopefully will get to hit the track in May for the Road ATL DE event. Next step will be a rear sway...I think I am going to leave the drive train alone until my K03's fail...Stock power and a nice suspension will still be a blast...

Default I'd like to take a ride sometime

to compare my 650/750 with your 550/600. An aftermarket rear sway bar will help as well. I've got the original Neuspeed and it's great set to soft.

Default How are the 650/750?

do you think the 550/600 is too soft for the track, or should I step it up to 600/700's? I spend an significant amount of time in my car. Stasis is shipping them out tomorrow, so I still have some time to change the order.

Default It's totally subjective

But one thing to consider is it's really the shocks that contribute to whether the ride is harsh. You can really crank up the rebound and you're going to rattle your teeth out. Or you can back it way off for a softer ride. However for that sweep spot the higher spring rate will also require more damping, thus a comparison of a properly adjusted suspension will result in a softer ride with the softer springs.

Previously I had H&R coilovers which I think are in the 450 lb range. That's the only suspension I've driven on at RA and it was a tad soft though still completely controllable. I think your choice of 550/600 will be good for daily driving, but you might even consider 550/650 to help get some of the understeer out. I know a lot of folks go with rear springs that are 100 lbs higher.

Default I guess I didn't answer your question

For me I'm happy with the ride. It's not great on bumpy pavement but otherwise I don't find it harsh at all. You certainly do feel a lot more of the road, but I like it that way. I'd be glad to give you a ride, but don't know if there's enough time before you have your stuff shipped?

Default No, you did answer the question

I wish I requested a ride before I bought, I guess I learn as I go. Thanks for the feedback tough...I am a traveling sales rep and spend a ton of time in the car. Feeling every inch on the road on a 4 hr trip may drive me nuts and unhapppy with the application.

Default Most set up at 600/700, but Stasis mentioned that they may be too stiff

for daily driving, especially my driving..Either way, I think 550/650 is a good compromise..
