Default Nitrogen for tires/Equipment being installed monday

We will have a new high tech nitrogen equipment being installed at the doraville location on monday. Nitrogen keeps a constant pressure even after driving, the molecules are larger than air which prevents air leakage, you do not have to check pressure as often and there is no moisture which can cause corrosion..

Default Ditto... What about cost?

I think I would like to try it. The only thing I would be afraid of is how do I refill it if I am traveling?

Default NITOGEN FACTS /COST

Even tires properly inflated lose pressure because oxygen migrates through the tire innerliner. Nitogen migrates 3-4 times slower than oxygen preserving the infaltion pressure for up to three times longer. Nitogen contains no moisture. This, combined with elimination of oxygen, reduces rust and oxidation of the wheel and innerliner. Tires also run cooler since nitogen retains less heat than oxygen. Nitogen runs 17-21 percent cooler than oxygen. Cost is 20.00 per vehicle.

Default Another known fact.... 100% N2 environment will kill you in 40 seconds.

Please make sure your techs are trained properly and if you have a maintenance pit in the floor it has good ventilation.

Have a nice day from your fellow safety professional.

Default Are you serious? High Tech System? A tank and reg... $20, what a joke. Corrode what? Ally rim, or

rubber? You should have dryer on your shop air anyway, if you like your air tools and mounters. The only reason you need dry gas in the tire is for pressure stability when you get the things really hot. Is someone really believing this? By the way, I used to work for Firestone in IndyCar support, I know what I am talking about. What a scam...
