Petit LeMans Camping? (Arriving Friday Morning)
Audi Peeps - I was wondering where you all might recommend campaign in the in-field campaign area.
I am arriving Friday with lots of beer, a tent, some BBQ and my Audi.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. : )
- Thanks!

Wade,
There are actual designated camping areas where you are "supposed" to camp. That said, they usually don't enforce it in my experience.
I'll be camping in or near the designated area on Friday night. Look for me with my black TT.

I think I'm going to try camping IN my Audi on Friday night. If it's really nice...
I might try to sleep in my shade tent. Do they (security) just come around and ask you to leave if they find you camping out in non designated areas?
Wade - I just had lunch with Jen L from the old office and she thought you were going. See you up there.

in my experience
security doesn't bother you unless you're damaging something or someone. a few years ago someone in the Audi Corral rolled a golf cart and security came over just to ask if they were OK. Oh, and at the time, we were camping in a non-camping area.
A couple years before that someone was doing donuts in the grass behind the Audi corral. Security waved their flashlight and yelled for them to "cut it out." The did it again a few hours (many beers) later and security came over and had a conversation. That was it.
I wouldn't worry about it -- they are very cool there so long as you are.
