Hi all...I have a big drive ahead of me..
I'm lying into Chatanooga Saturday (tomorrow) to complete the purchase of an R32 and drive it back to NY via I 81... Any stop suggestions for the night? Any good eats along the route? (I'm a burger addict. Radar traps to watch out for? I'll have a V1 but you never know..

I always grab a Subway sandwich en route, and I've made that drive from JFK or Westchester to Nashville two times in the last few years (in one day). It's a nice drive, except that you have to be careful of the po-po in VA with a V-1.

VA has an iileagal law that lets they confiscate and destroy radar detectors without due process of law. Though the V-1 is electronically hidden from detection by the VA Storm Troopers; they will get in behind a bunch of cars, trigger their radar unit and arrest the car(s) that hit their brakes. Clever little ****ers, eh?

But I usually put the V-1 away in VA, I agree with that. No use risking losing a $450 radar detector, so I just keep my eyes open as usual.
Never say never, but a trooper would have a hard time sneaking up on me, unless I was distracted by a beautiful girl in a Ferrari.
