Hi,
i suspect a front wheel bearing wants replaced. Didn't have time to check autozone if they have the tool for rent (the one you do not need to remove all the suspension). if autozone will not have it, any advices where i can rent one?
or if some has it, can i borrow it?
Thks!!!!

it's a fairly expensive tool, so I don't expect people to line up to lend it to you. I know someone who has it and seems like every time he lent it out and once when he was himself using it, it was damaged (except when I borrowed it -- it came back unscathed of course =) )
I'd say buy the tool or pay to have the job done. If you have the know-how, the tool pays for itself after two wheel bearing replacements.<ul><li><a href="http://www.etoolcart.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4493">htt p://www.etoolcart.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=4493</a</li></ul>

See my post in the TT section. I have one that allows you to remove the bearing and re-insert it, however, when I tried re-inserting the hub I destroyed the new bearing, so I eventually took the entire knuckle off and took it to a local machine shop and had them press it out and reinsert a new one, all in under 20 minutes and for a small charge of $30. Your guys may vary but I doubt it'll be more than $70-$80.
Or you can check here if you'd like your own: http://www.sjdiscounttools.com/otc6537.html
or contact the guys at German Auto Parts - they have the Schley tool (no longer in production) which they'll rent to you for about $100 plus deposit. Tell them I sent ya.
