Default wicked motorsports - full stainless with cats

probably will rebuild my cat back exhaust with 3.5" pipe (possibly stainless) in a few more weeks.

clutch is a Cluthmasters Stage 4 Eight Puck with sprung hub... mated to a Fidanza LWFW. <- this can be done when you talk to the right people at CM's and Fidanza.

Default I seriously considered the WMS DP's, but decided to go the cheaper route for the time being.

They look really nice and the price is great.

Default wicked DP's are on sale right now too...

$900 for coated with cats
$1100 for full stainless and cats

i didn't realize they were selling full stainless and was pleasantly surprised. i was going to get the $900 set and get them www.jet-hot.com coated.

Default so, you're going to be just like Eric and not dyno before/after?

especially since you have fixed your problem

Default i plan on dynoing again...

but not until i put in the new clutch and DP's

before/after of what exactly?
-piggies to actual DP's?
-problem to fixed problem?

I feel safe saying i dyno'd about 20-25 HP low because of my problem.

the other variable for me will be a new ASP code that i'll be running in the next few weeks.

either way my car has to come apart for the new clutch (which is slipping like a **** off and on)... DP's will be that much easier with the tranny out.

next time i dyno will probably be on 104 octane to throw another wrench in it.

either way... another dyno day needs to be set up and i can get the wheels turning again if needed.

Default here's what I was thinking, at least in your case.

you ran low the last time, so let's see how you run now
run it again after dp install to see if there's a difference
run again after new ASP sauce

Default if i had a dyno budget i would do that.

but that would get exspensive very fast...

dyno session 1 - (test fixed timing issue)- $50 with group

session 2 - (test new ASP sauce) - $100 for 3 pulls

session 3 - (add downpipes) - $100 for 3 pulls

session 4 - (race gas) - $100 for 3 pulls

unless i'm missing something obvious.

as much as i would like to do that i don't think i'll be able to. my clutch is on its way and will be replaced within the next 2-3 weeks. i'll "save" time by doing the DP's at the same time.

I could always try to log fats times before and after to attempt attaining a measurable difference...
