Default just over 1000.

AoA paid the "standard 500 limit" at first, after I was explicitly told they would reimburse everything. I was LIVID. I probably made a dozen calls, then wrote scathing letters. I finally got a call from Axel Mees' assistant or whatever, saying they would reimburse the remaining amount. I was soooooooo relieved you can't imagine.

Keep trying. In the end if you're persistent I think you'll get it back. They hate naggers, and I nagged like a ****.

Default I think it's pretty clear that you need to consult with a lawyer

they can provide you with considerably better advice than anyone here. Good luck...hope it all works out in the end.

Default meaning your story is confusing this **** out of everyone!!!

simple question: how did the dealership come to the "chipped" conclusion? not to say that being chipped caused the car's problems anyway, but still, that's an easy out for Audi on an otherwise warrantied car. can you prove the car wasn't/isn't chipped? can they prove it was?

The sequence of events isn't clear, who did what to whom when, what specifically he wants Audi to do at this point, etc.

It's a rambling story at this point, and not a specifics-laden effective business communications document that clearly lays out "here's my problem", "here's what I want", "here's a concise summary of events to date", "here's a list of supporting attachments", and so on.
