Default 2000 B5 S4.. WIth a pulsating vibration.. Does anyone have experience

with this problem? It starts at about 38 MPH and continues up to 60 MPH. Then, a fairly signifigant vibration can be felt in the seats, steering wheel and pedals. Its not an alignment problem. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any direction is much appreciated....

Default Does it abruptly end at 60 mph? That's odd, and what you infer....

otherwise I'd say bent rim or bad tire, no-brainer.

Default A strange suggestion....

Might you have a wheel mis-mounted on a hub? That tends to create a wobble, which gets worse at moderate speeds, then reduces at very high speeds. A piece of dirt on the hub can do it. Remove wheel, clean both surfaces, re-install, with very careful star-pattern torquing.

Doesn't cost much.

I had a similar problem twice.
