I am looking for info on how to remove the hex socket bolt on the rear wheel. As everyone knows these bolts become rusted and don't seem to want to come out. I used an impact wrench and this did not do it. Is there some other trick which I can use. I assume that the bolt comes off in a counter clockwise direction. Any help would be great. The bolt is a 14 mm hex socket bolt.

On the fronts Ive done - for CVs, suspension, etc., I just use a 17MM 1/2 drive allen socket, a breaker bar, sometimes an extension (e.g.: pipe) and a helper to stand on the brakes.

You may need someone in the car pressing the brakes, to keep the car from rolling.
I've found a long breaker bar works better than an impact gun.
