Default Lowering Air Suspension?

can anyone help out on lowering air suspension?

i have a Q7 and have seen 3 options for lowering.

1. lowering links - £120
2. lowering springs - £1,500
3. control module - £1,200

now it seems to me to go for the cheapest, the lowering links.

these replace the OEM links and are longer thus fooling the control that the car is sitting higher than it should be, so it lowers the suspension accordingly to be at the 'correct' height.

this means all settings are lowered the same by what ever amount you set the links to.

the lowering springs just give an all round lowering of 40mm so so would also be the lower at all settings.

and the control module gives you control as the name suggests, so you can have just the dynamic setting lower and all the rest as OEM settings.

can anyone help out? have i got the way these work correct?

currently i have 21" rims on the s-line.

i would also be looking to get track spacer to push the wheels out into the arches too.
