Default Tein Coilovers Basic Damper Kit

I switched from Eibach lowering springs and Audi struts & shocks to Tein Coilovers Basic Damper Kit...hoping that it would make my ride a bit stiffer...and oh did it make it stiffer too stiff! I feel every bump in the road now I dont even want to drive my Audi.

Tein Coilovers Damper kit is meant for pure racing not for driving on the streets. I plan on selling them for more info or pictures e-mail me. I paid just under a 1,000 for them...but any best offer am willing to take as long as I get them off right away!

Default I don't know why Audi people are buying these things...

Stick with the known entities folks...the folks that have been putting suspensions on Audis for some time know..and have really experimented with set up to get what they now offer.

H&R
Stasis
Bilstein
Koni

And on the higher end...

Penske

Default Bilstein HD Sport?

My Mechanic told me Bilstein has shocks and struts HD sports...but I can only find HD or SP. Is there such a thing as HD sports?

Default if you think a twin-tube non pressurized TEIN is too stiff, stay away from...

...Bilstein, H&R, Eibach stuff. This assumes you are in a B5/B6/C5 chassis, not a TT (runs struts, which are totally different situation).

Basically, you would probably like a KONI damper. Soft twin-tube. I'd go with a KONI coilover kit. Less then $1k, buttery soft, lower ride height.

Don't expect to impress on track, but it's not harsh and the price is right.

Default Tein...Highly regarded in Japan. In fact, there HUGE in Japan. I can say that they are great quality

I had a Civic Hatch track car and used the Tein system with electronic dampening adjustability from within the car and was very happy. I would not be detered from Tein.

With that said, I don't enjoy going into a Japanese restaurant and ordering Weinershnitzel! lol

ITs just the athentication thing, thats all. lol
