I take mine in Monday to get new egr cooler, shutoff valve, oil cooler and flange along with some other parts in there. I have the same issue loosing coolant but also had a white cloud randomly behind me on road. Never could see any coolant in v but developed an oil cooler leak and don’t have all the tools to tackle this myself. Did have the coolant tested to see if I had a head gasket leak.

Interesting enough, I asked for the egr and oil cooler to be changed out and after reading through the procedure, they failed to include the shutoff valve and air intake gaskets in the parts list. Also wanted to bill me for adblue on this visit. Thanks to this forum and the Erwin documents, I was able to see the missing items (bogus ones also) as I told them if I’m paying to go into the v, I wanted all the main stuff replaced.

Next issue was price. I could order all the parts online various places for appx 1100. Dealer price was 2400. If I went online to Audi direct, 1800. Called parts guy and he said he couldn’t match online pricing and to order it online and have it delivered to my dealer. Weird he couldn’t match those Audi prices.

Well the parts are in and I was quoted in the 1500 range for labor. Let’s see how it goes. Wish me luck. Thanks for everyone’s info here. I’ll update when done.
