I bought my nav system with a what appears to be a hybrid Nav disc. Its a euro head unit US map data. Well fast forward to this past week. I popped in a full US nav disc recently and it updated the nav system to 260 yet it wont read the disc as nav disc, but my old one still works. I am trying to get the nav disc to work. Any help would be great. Here is the info from vag com.

Make sure that channel 10 is set to 0, if that's not the problem then your US DVD is not a US DVD, it's a bad backup or the laser is dirty/damaged. I had some trouble using 0260, frequently got CD unreadable errors with a 2008 backup. Using a 2007 backup or the original 2008 DVD works much better.
