Motorola IHF-1000 Bluetooth Car Kit / Sony Ericsson W810i Problem
Hey, I recently installed the motorola kit into my B5 S4 as per the tech article here on audi world. I'm still having trouble with the factory mic, as it seems overly sensitive, but that's a different question.
I'm having trouble pairing these 2 devices. My old Nokia 6230 paired with no problems, however the W810i hasn't had any luck despite all my efforts. Any ideas?
As for the factory mic question, I've read that the factory mic is powered, and the signal needs to be dropped to a suitable level for the motorola kit to read the signal clearly. I've begun building the small adapter circuit with the adjustable resistor, but haven't had time to install into the car yet. Has anyone had luck with the circuit? Any tips on how exactly to tune the resistor?
Thanks!

the oem mic will sound like crap with the IHF1000. Use the supplied mic with the kit. Trust me.
...as for the pairing, that's another issue all together. Consult motorola.com etc.
