Default Motorola V60S compatibility

Will a Motorola V60s phone work with an Audi cradle / Handsfree system or does it have to be a special Audi badged phone?

I bought a 2002 Audi A6 with a Motorola / Audi V60 Handsfree Installation System for vehicles equipped with Telematics by OnStar.
The cradle is a (Motorola.60c/v.60t Audi 8E1862 407A Serial # 000054912) prewired to steering wheel controls and the cars external antenna. I would like to get a phone to use in the cradle and handfree system.
Will a Motorola V60s phone work with my cradle / system or does it have to be a special Audi badged phone?

it has to be a special audi badged phone to use the phone book. If it does not have the badge, it will work just as hands free as I understand it and just phone will appear in the dash when a call comes in.
The wire that comes out of the mount and goes into the plug below the arm rest is it built into the mount or is it able to be taken out. If it is what is the part number.
