Rear Brake Caliper Piston
Hello All! First time poster here.
I have the 2012 Audi a6 quattro prestige... which now has a rear brake caliper piston issue, because I was compressing with the emergency brake, slowly applying pressure and allowing the vehicle to decompress as I applied pressure to the cylinder. Bad idea... the brake tool punctured the caliper cylinder piston in the center.
My question is, where can I get a brake caliper repair kit? I tried JB welding the puncture, to no avail... still leaks. I think it's aluminum, so cant weld it. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated! Just need the center cylinder piston thing cap thing, the extends out of the caliper. /shrugs
