Hey all.. I just came back from India on a business trip. My car has about 89k on it. Quick specs: 99 A4 2.8 Quattro Manual. I decided to call Roger Beasley Audi for an estimate. My belts and pump were replaced at 75K, but they still want $650ish for the service time. They quoted a normal 90K includes timing belt and all which would run about $1300. Is that avg? or are they making me grab my ankles for that?
I know they have to change the plugs, filters and all, but what else is there to it? They say it will take approx. 5 hours of work.
Greatly appreciate feedback on this.
O yeah.. Nomahhhhhhhhhh

I was looking over the .pdf out there with the work to be performed, and most of it can be done by myself with some help. Im going to stop by the stealership later today to get an itemized list of what they actually do. I swear it sounds like they sit around banging their wrenches on the engine for a good 2 hours to make it seem like they're actually doing something.
Any suggestions of a reputable shop in Austin that works on Audis?
Very much appreciated
