Bad experince with Cavender Audi San Antonio..
I had recently taken the TT for a "check engine light" MAF issue and
was denied service due to the aftermarket intake on the engine.. I
tried to resolve the issue with Rick Cavender and was pushed to the
service mgr. He then called and advised that they would "look" into
the diagnostic of the engine which then leads me to believe that
nothing was done to find the actual reason for the fault. This only
makes me think that efforts to service your vehicle are done to the
bare minimum to save cost. I will keep pushing that no one uses
cavender for service or sales inquiry.. Sad thing that a company is
willing to throw away a relationship of 4 years and 6 vehicle sales
over an "aftermarket" filter. Ken Lightsey and the service manager
knows nothing about customer service and true audi service knowledge.
I suggest EVERYONE start going to Roger Beasly Audi for service since
I have had several reports of them being "mod" friendly willing to
keep customers happy and keep a relationship with the customer to make
sure they come back for a future sale.

That sucks dude...although roger beasly isnt so mod friendly anymore...
The head service guy is no longer there, just a few months ago they wanted to void my warranty and a few months b4 that they were installing my parts? Their customer service has gone waaaaay down also, that is why im going to chevy soon, if im gonna get poor service I might as well have a car that can be made fast and be fixed cheaply, vroom!

Yeah im still around, idrive through about 2-3 times daily, I actually see you alot...
When im not in my car lol....U didnt look a few weeks ago when I was waving in a lil white 95 ford ranger

Cavender Audi Service revised..
I spoke to Rick Cavender today and we have come to an understanding.. All I wanted was proper diagnostic service and to have a "reason" why the Maf failed.. Normal failure, aftermarket failure, whichever.. I just expected the car to be properly diagnosed from the begining of the service at 9am and not just because I started complaining at the end of the day. I understand and respect Rick for standing behind his policy. I look forward to my 35K regular scheduled maintenance at Cavender Audi (minus Ken).
