Default the garage is the most important piece in a house...

lots of time will be spent there detailing, modding, admiring your loved one.

Default Speaking of which, I finally met up with Paul yesterday morning...

...I would have called, but it was a last minute thing - and you were probably still sleeping.

Still on the fence as to what Im going to do - but we're thinking 450/500 with my current dampers, or maybe touring valving with slightly higher spring rates. I go back and forth on the hour, but I suppose the good news is that I wont have to mod my car in the AutoZone parking lot any more!

Default So in other words...

your either gonna lower the spring, or the compression valving? Did he say if there was a trade off by doing one of the other? I think you said Paul likes to run as little spring as possible without touching the bumpstops, but that's his "track" setup. What about for cruising?

Default Yeah, there are trade offs. He said I'd love the touring setup for daily driving...

...but I'd probably be crying at all I gave up when I go back to the track. Thats kinda why I'm leaning toward trying the lower spring rates and backing off the dampening. The only trade off is that the car might feel skittish (overdampened) on the slow street stuff.

The botom line is that he's willing to work with me until we get it figured out.

BTW, Paul said my car felt like a S4 running 700/800 springs.

Default Yeah, I'd probably lean toward keeping your dampers.

Actually, if it were me I'd go up in spring to 700/800 and pretend like I was playing Mario Kart everyday on the freeway....but that's just me=P

Anyway, so when are you getting the lift installed in the garage?

Exactly. Screw blinds and furniture - I'm decking out the garage first.
