Default Your pics show the whallop that Fritz & you sustained.

It is quite impressive to me that your TT kept you so protected with that impact. Keep getting better & keep us posted.

Default It will be a long four months, but...

think how good it will feel to be back in "Fritz" again.
Pic 3 amazes me. Look at the aluminum trim piece on the door sill. It doesn't appear to be bent at all. Amazing car.

Thanks for sharing, Janet. Enjoy your vacation, you've earned it.

Roger

Default More weird similarities and advice... :)

Yea, after looking at your pictures it's unbelievable how similar the damage between both yours and his.

This should be obvious, but make sure you test EVERYTHING very well before accepting it. Typically, the insurance agent will hang around to make sure the work was done well (at least that's what happened to him). Check windows, doors, fit and finish of the dash, in addition to the test drive.

Here is another weird similarity, you were hit by a TOyota and so was he! He got slammed by a Toyota Celica (yuk). The Toyota was totaled

Default Janet, if Fritz needs any control arms, let me know. I also have sway bars . . .

If the body shop or your Audi dealer can't provide the parts for you, please let me know and I will ship them to you for them to put onto Fritz.

I want you to be TOTALLY happy with the car and not have to drive around with a MkII suspension!

Default Re: Photo #1

Sorry I have been following your trials and tribs---and did not offer condolences; I am glad that you were not hurt as bad as Fritz. I don't recall reading your answer to this question: Did the side airbag go off? If so explain what happened (with the airbag).

Default Pic #1 amazes me. Fritz absorbed so much impact and didn't seem to transfer much of the negative

energy to the rest of the car. You, sweet pea, continue to get better and enjoy your holiday with John. Everyone is pulling for you and your baby.

Default You'll LOVE this, Denny....(more)

When John called me tonight, he said he had increased what he now calls his "TT Count" by one. He sees a TT almost every single day in and around London...and sometimes he sees multiples during the weekends at home in Hertfordshire.

Well, apparently he saw his first Amulet Red TTR this morning, as he left Farringdon train station in London. He said that since the driver had the top down and since he was stopped so close to where John crossed the street, he actually thought about shouting to him, "Do you know who 'Fritz' is?" just to see if the guy posts on this Forum!!

That's really love (human AND "TT"), don't you think!!

;-)
