$550 fix for interior light problem.

I recently took my car in for its 10K service. One of the items on the list was the problem of the interior light staying on intermittently. I reported this problem at the 5K service and they couldn't find a problem. The same thing happened at the 10K service. The next day, my car was sent out for the ESP retrofit. Ever since my car has come back from ESP retrofit, I have not had this problem. My guess is that they replaced the ground automatically as part of the retrofit process.
As far as ESP is concerned, I suppose I like it. I have seen the light come on a few times when I have been pushing the car pretty hard. To be brutally honest, though, I really wanted the ESP because I couldn't stand having the blank button on the dash. (Yes, it would have been a lot cheaper and easier to just buy the button.) Plus I was just plain curious about the whole ESP thing.
