Default *** Mantis Gauge Pod update ***

Hi Everyone,

When the Mantis was introduced, we priced the kit based on the interest level that was shown at the time so we could get them out to you as reasonably priced as possible. We have seen these sold for a lot more in the past, so priced at $299.95 we know there was only a small margin in it (considering the cost of CNC machining and Laser cut sheet metal these days). We were prepared to accept this and wait for future sales, but this has not happened in the numbers we had hoped. We also realize this product is not for everyone, due to the expertise required to install the various gauges, only certain auto-enthusiast's will use and appreciate the engineering behind this product.

We have over 300 hours of R&D in this product, which is only available at AutoAesthetics, and as far as we know no other product like this is offered anywhere else, so we can no longer afford to offer these at the current pricing, and will have to consider a long-term approach to sales.

The price of the Mantis will increase back to $375 and in consideration for those who have expressed interest, we will hold off until December 1st before the increase.

We know this product will enhance your driving experience and early customers from Canada, Japan and the US (as far away as Alaska) have been extremely happy with the OEM "look" and design of the Mantis. We are also confident that if you choose to purchase, you will wonder why an ashtray was selected for this area instead of a housing for vital engine gauges and a power supply!

Thank you all for your interest and patronage with our product line!

Raffi

Default Very Nice, but how does this differ from those done by CdnTT?

Other than 3 little lines across the front, it sure looks like a copy.

I also think I paid around $300 for mine and got it anodized black to match my interior.

I am not knocking you. I have one of your shift ***** and it is a work of beauty and quality. This is just an observation.

Default I like the look of the mantis, but in my case I already have this pod. So to honestly spend 300 on

another one is not high on the list. Your products are awsome and recomend them highly. If I did not have this one would get a mantis today. This might be a reason why some here have not jumped on.
